CUBE Estimating: Faster, Smarter, Less Friction
Β
This update was built around one goal: helping estimating teams work faster with less friction. Here is what changed:
- Right-click workflow throughout the platform β create areas, add systems, import from library, and access CUBE AI without leaving the estimate tree
- Quick area and system creation directly from the project tree β no more navigating through multiple screens to start organizing a project
- Drag-and-drop to rename, relocate, duplicate, and reorganize areas and systems within the tree structure
- AI image recognition β upload a system image and CUBE AI automatically identifies components and pre-selects them for review
- AI plan processing from the estimate tree β upload a floor plan and AI identifies devices and systems directly where you are building the estimate
- Workspace customization per role β remove unnecessary columns, reorganize layouts, and tailor the interface to match your workflow
- Excel import β upload a spreadsheet and CUBE generates the full estimate structure automatically
Automated Engineering Documentation
- Add Floor Plans from PDF β upload a project area PDF and CUBE detects associated systems and places them within the spatial layout, connecting system design with real building context
- Insert Wiring Legend β generate a complete wiring summary table with cable ID, type, part number, quantity, manufacturer, and color in one click
- Update Wiring Legend β refresh an existing wiring legend table automatically to reflect the latest system changes
- Add I/O Programming Table β insert a structured controller I/O summary with point names, types, and addresses for programming and documentation
Design and Estimate in Sync
- Insert Symbols β generate a dedicated sheet displaying all system components as a structured visual list with names, descriptions, and symbol images
- Synchronize with CUBE β update CUBE Edge automatically to match the current components in Visio, keeping both environments aligned without manual reconciliation
Integrations
- Delta Controls β generate Visio diagrams from real device data and program physical controllers directly using points defined in CUBE Edge
- Reliable Controls β connect to Reliable Controls API and generate systems in Visio based on actual deployed configurations
- Tridium Niagara β retrieve live device data and generate accurate system diagrams directly from your Niagara installation
